About Me
I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University. My studies focused primarily on aspects of drawing and painting which include fine artwork and illustration. I gained an excellent foundation in all aspects of visual design and am skilled in other areas such as the graphic arts. I am now actively doing freelance graphic design work for local businesses and I continue to refine my knowledge and techniques in the areas of fine art, web and graphic design, illustration, and photography. I do accept commissioned work as well as offer general design services in these other areas.
I am based out of the Northwest Iowa Great Lakes area, including Okoboji, Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park, Milford, Spencer, and the surrounding areas.
Tools of the Trade
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Indesign, QuarkXpress, Corel Painter and many others.
Traditional Media: Oil and Acrylic Paint, Watercolor, Ink, Pencil, Charcoal, Pastel, etc. I most commonly work with charcoal, pencil, and oil or acrylic paint but enjoy using whichever medium is best for the job!
