About Me
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Iowa State University with studies focused on fine artwork and illustration in traditional and digital media. I have continued to work in the design field creating advertisements and page layouts for print and online media.
Personal projects include original paintings and drawings in a range of styles such as surreal or expressionist. My photography work focuses on landscapes and wildlife, often with a surreal perspective.
I am happy to create commissioned original artwork. Please contact me for details. I reside in the Northwest Iowa Great Lakes area, which includes Okoboji, Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park, Milford, Spencer, and the surrounding areas.
Tools Used
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Indesign, QuarkXpress, Corel Painter and many others.
Traditional Media: Oil and Acrylic Paint, Watercolor, Ink, Pencil, Charcoal, Pastel, etc. I most commonly work with pencil and oil or acrylic paint but enjoy using whichever medium is best for the job!
